Post-doctoral Fellow

A post-doctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Carol Webb in the Department of Medicine; Division of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City to study:

  • The molecular mechanisms by which ARID3a contributes to breaks in tolerance in lupus using both mouse models and patient samples
  • Innate immune mechanisms by which ARID3a is associated with cancer and inflammatory processes

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with an outstanding work ethic to work on these funded projects. Applicants should hold a PhD and/or an MD and have a strong immunology and molecular biology background. Prior experience working with mice and using multi-color flow cytometry, and tissue culture are expected. The successful candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and demonstrable publication record in immunology or molecular biology.
