Regulation of Effector, Memory, and Exhausted T Cell Responses

A post-doctoral fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Linda Bradley for studies on the regulation of T cell differentiation and responses in the settings of acute and chronic virus infections and cancer. The laboratory studies adaptive and innate immune mechanisms that act as checkpoint regulators of T cell immune responses using murine models as well as clinical translation in in studies of cancer immunotherapy. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in immunology with expertise in T cell immunology and in experimental approaches to study T cell functions using in vivo models. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can function independently in design and execution of experiments, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. A strong publication record as well as eligibility to apply for fellowship support are required. The Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute is located on the Torrey Pines Mesa in La Jolla in close proximity to several research institutes and the UCSD Moore’s Cancer Center where  the Bradley Laboratory has ongoing collaborations.
